Scene Listing:

Humans vs. Zombies. A group of survivors (4 to 6) people is trapped in a building by zombies (8 to 10). As the zombies force the humans further into the building they retreat up to the 2^nd, 3^rd and finally 4^th floor. As the humans retreat they fall prey to the zombies and are converted.

What’s my motivation? Humans wanna survive, zombies (and girls) just wanna have fun. Of course fun for girls is dancing, singing and laughing. For zombies having fun is eating brains! Oh crap, conflict of interest.

Shooting Sequence:

Six sessions, no story boarding done yet. One human dies in each session and comes back as a zombie

I just wanted to make you smile. A has slit the throat of B. The blood is running and the knife is huge.

What’s my motivation? Barry, you have gone over the edge. The Angel of Death gave you the little shove you needed to lose your mind. You and Jacqui were tight, but now you are going to kill her. Little do you know the Angel of Death can touch the dead as well. Jacqui will have the last laugh as she slits your throat just as you slit hers.

Wardrobe (your shirts will get mega-bloody):

Barry – pants = jeans, shoes = boots or generic tennis shoes, shirt = short sleeves.

Jacqui – pants = jeans are ok, a skirt would be better (knee length-ish, not a mini) or knee-length shorts, shoes = like I know women’s shoes, use your judgement, shirt = tank top or very short sleaves.

Mommy. Wake up. The child, or children, standing over their dead mother. Her blood is on their hands (literally and figuratively).

What’s my motivation? Stevie, you are just trying to get the kids ready so you can run errands. The young and innocent are easily distracted by the lures set by the Angel of Death. Shooting Mommy in the face sounds like a fun game. Let’s play.

Stevie – something “mommy-ish”. Like I would have a clue. Jean, button-up shirt, comfy shoes. I’m really easy on this one.

Ian and Alec – Julie, dress your children. I’m not even touching this.

What’s my motivation? Jens, you are just one sick puppy. The Angel of Death didn’t have to work very hard in your case. In fact she might have had to pull you back just a bit. You’ve been searching for the perfect woman. Tori, Brianna, Cassidy and Mandi were all stunning trophies, but only in Kristen have you found that perfect Trophy Wife. Ladies, in life you all thought this guy was a catch. But now you’re all dead. Stone dead. Just laying there.

1^st sequence – Kristen, Tori, Brianna, Cassidy and Mandi have a bullet hole in forehead. Note: Kristen’s wound is fresh, the other ladies are old wounds.

Wardrobe (none of these costumes should get blood on them):

Jens – something “sporting” but don’t go overboard. No camouflage. You just shot the woman of your dreams.

Kristen – it was your last date ever. A casual date, but date none the less. Pants, skirt, shorts, any will be good with me. Not a short skirt. You’ll be laying on the ground and we aren’t trying to flash the camera. A shirt that’s not too lose, not skin tight either.

Tori, Brianna, Cassidy, Mandi – you were all on a date with this stud-muffin as well. Not formal, casual dating attire. If you can bring a few different things so the four of you could coordinate with each other so you don’t all look alike and blend together that would be top notch.

My Gift of Life. My Gift of Death. A mother kills her child or children. What better gift to those you have birthed than to free them forever from pain?

The Young Lovers. Young love is beautiful and innocent. As time goes by beauty fades and innocence is corrupted. How can you save the one you love from the ravages of time? Death of course, for death is the eternal extinction of change.

What’s my motivation? Who understands young love? I don’t. But when you are awash in desire the Angel of Death can play with your emotions. Jealousy can make you do terrible things. Things like kill the girl who was true to you. The deceptions were only in your mind. Your tortured mind.

Chris as The Boy

1^st sequence – no sfx

2^nd sequence – Devon has bruising on her neck from being chocked to death

Wardrobe (no blood involved, clothes should be safe):

Chris – pants = jeans, shoes = everyday whatever, shirt = something that shows off the muscles, we might even shoot you without a shirt on if I can convince you to do that. I know how much guys hate taking off their shirts.

Devon – something a bit crazy and colourful, like you. No blood, but you will be laying on the ground so it will get dirty. Bring a few things, we’ll pick something out.

Angels of Eternal Stasis. When death takes hold you feel the embrace of decay. In life you found only pain as your heart was ripped out day after day by an uncaring world. As the blood drained away the coldness keeps you warm for eternity.

What’s my motivation? Oh cruel world. You just don’t understand. But now everything is warm and wonderful. Now you are happy and playful, smiles and laughs. Death is just a game to you.

Brianna, Cassidy and Mandi – you are (were?) all teenagers who killed yourselves. Think cute teenage girl. Not Gothic. Encouraged: Cute boots, shorts, skirts, cute shirts, tank-tops, bright colours (but no pure white, white in the design is okay), patterns, plaid skirts, poka-dots. You are young and girly. Bring a few looks and we will coordinate the three of you.

Alone Inside Yourself. You hear the voices, why can’t anyone else hear them? Are they all insane? It’s not just your mind that is warped, it’s also your body.

What’s my motivation? You have no idea what has happened to you. You see things. You hear voices. You don’t know where you are. You don’t remember who you are. All you know is the pain, the visions, the voices and you aren’t happy about this at all.

Tori as Only I Can Hear, Only I Can See

Makeup & shooting (alone):

1^st sequence – Tori has left side of face mutilated, eye is gone, left side of mouth sewn shut. Left hand mutilated. Desired effect is that the whole left side of her body is mutilated. Note: can the wounds be a bit “fresh”. Not gushing blood, but recent, wet, “soft”.

Wardrobe (might get some blood on it. I’d like these wounds to be fresh-ish):

Tori – pants = long, not jeans if possible, shirt = long sleeves, high collar (less work for makeup crew). The left side of your body is mutilated and you are trying to hide it as best you can. Dark to mid-tone brown or blue. Not black, not bright either. Some colours in the middle. Shoes/socks = something that matches, dark colours, closed toes.

The Angel of Death. Death always hovers in the background. Watching and waiting. Laughing and smiling. Pushing the easily swayed over the edge. Tipping the cup until all sanity has spilled to the ground and soaked into the soil. Pray she doesn’t touch you. The Angel of Death may appear at any time in any scene – but not the Humans V Zombies scenes.

What’s my motivation? Hello. Which part of “Angel of Death” don’t make no sense? That’s a double negative and so are you. You love this stuff. It makes you smile. It make you happy. You glow and bubble with excitement and giddy with every splatter of blood. As the life drains from the vessel you relish the emptiness.

Backward Way Shay as The Angel of Death

Makeup and shooting:

Will likely be in all non-zombie scenes. Just a light touch up with heavy maskera around the eyes, but not outlandish. No huge eyelashes please.

Wardrobe (should not get blood on it at all, just dust):

Shay – very much like what you had for the photos we did in the boiler room. The boots are great. The high socks are super. Skirt, not denim if you can. T-shirts and tank tops. Go for cute and colourful. Teen-Angel of Death. If we could you’d have a Hello Kitty purse. If you have some cute purses that match outfits bring ’em. You can be bright – the brightest thing in the scene – but no pure white – white can be mixed in. Dots, plaid, stripes, all good. Bring an assortment. You’ll need a different look for each scene you are in. You can also do rings and bracelets if you like, and go a bit “overboard” on those if you like. Remember your character is the exception. You are other-worldly, everyone else is real and of the Earthly plain. Don’t bring anything valuable or sentimental please. Maybe some cheap sunglasses too.
