By the hour commercial photography is $190 for the first hour, $150 for each additional hour. Two hour minimum.

- Half day - $560
- Full day - $985
For work outside Rapid City travel charges will apply at IRS approved mileage charges.
Commercial Photography is licensed for use at going rate based on your project. This cost in not included in the hourly or day rate.
I'm also available for any challenging project which requires the ability to do things under challenging conditions, to see things differently or to knock the socks off your clients, customers, friends, shareholders or the general public at large.
When you are ready to move beyond stock photography On The Fly is here to help. Contact me and we will get together to determine if I'm the right person to help you create your vision.
Most other photography projects will be based on a $100 to $200 per hour fee depending on the level of complication involved in the shoot.
Any advanced Photoshop needs are billed at $50 per hour. This does not normally come into play in my work. None of the photographs you see on this web site have been Photoshopped in any way.
Things You Need To Know About Photography Services:
This isn't magic which happens instantly. Photography projects require lead time and post time.
Lead time is needed to plan the shoot, find out exactly what we need to achieve, get props, people, staff and other things organized, sign contracts and all the other things that have to happen. Allow at least 2 weeks lead time for your project.
Post time includes post processing, waiting for you to approve proofs, delivering final images on DVD or via FTP, tweaking details and generally making sure everything is just right. Allow at least 2 weeks post time for your project after the day of the shoot.
Can I do your project "today" or "over night" or "ASAP"? Yes I can.
- Less the one week notice, add $100 to the price.
- Less than 48 hours notice, multiply all cost by 1.5.
- Less than 24 hours notice, multiply all cost by 2.
Planning ahead makes this easier for both of us and results in a higher quality result.
Video work is based on a rate of $65 per hour. If you are seeking video services such as filming, editing and mastering DVDs we will meet to discuss your project and I will put together a bid for you.
