Open Photo Shoot with On The Fly Photography

Between now and the shoot I may edit this page to add details as I figure out what’s going on.

Shoot location is Bas Bleu Theatre at 401 Pine Street, Fort Collins, Colorado.

Days: Monday Oct 1st, Tuesday Oct 2nd

Times: Starting 2pm(ish) and as late as 11pm(ish)

Here are some very very bad photos of the set we will be shooting on.  The projection screen you see is not part of the set.  The pool is filled with real water but you can’t go swimming in it.

Current schedule:

Monday:
Ashley 2:00 to 6:00
Kelsey 3:30 to 6:00

Tuesday:
Lexi 4:45ish to ????
Molly 5:15ish to 8:00

The set encourages bright colours and more outlandish scenes so that’s what I’m looking to go for.

Wardrobe: Provided by the models – bring bright coloured stuff, especially red, blue and yellow.  More bizarre is more better.  Conventional is just fine as well.  Princess dresses are a fav of mine.  If you have cool boots I adore those as well.  And I will not make fun of your Uggs & short skirt combination.  :)  I’m totally down for that.

Think whimsical and fairy tale.  Think bright sunshiney.  Think mythology and superhero.

Bring cool jewellery as well.  Rings are great as they help to break up the hands and add interest.

And if you have any outfit you really wanna be photographed in bring that as well.

Hair Styling: Provided by the model.

Makeup: Provided by the model.  The theatre has a dressing room with counter and makeup mirrors/lights.  My initial thoughts on makeup are dark colourful eyes, bright lips and “rosey cheecks”.  But I’m open to ideas as well.

Don’t forget nail polish.  Bright colours.  Yes, you can have different colours on different fingers.

Compensation:  Models must sign a release form.  If you are 17 or younger a parent or legal guardian must also sign the form.  Models will get copies of all photos taken except the really bad ones which I just delete – and both high resolution and low resolution copies of all post processed photos.  This is a Time For Photos gig – no pay.
