Last night I attended the opening reception for the Scary Art Project in the Fort Collins Art Lab.  Good times were had by many.  Interesting art.  Many of the artists were in attendance.  Munchies and wine were available.  That always helps.  Plus some people actually came in to look at the art.  Some of the pieces were even sold.

Shocking I know.

In general there seemed to be three reactions to my pieces.

1. People looked at them and talked in hushed voices.

2. People looked at them and laughed out loud.  My kinda people.

3. People glanced at them and ran away in fear.  There were two women who only made it to the second photo before turning tail and running.

I also had some interesting comments.  Most popular was the comparison of my photos to movie stills.  I was even asked if the images were taken from a video recording.   For the record they were not.
