21 October, 2007: Yes, I am still alive. The web site has been neglected. The Cynical Libertarian Society has been neglected. You have bee neglected. I know how much you all miss me my dear fans. What's happened between now and then?

I finally went to Boulder. Yup, it was full of hippies. I went to a concert with the female I was currently seeing (yes, Skippy can score a woman once in a while) and the audience was full of hippie lesbians. None of them were attractive. Of course I was there with the hottest woman in the place (believe it or not, I have not only standards, but high standards). I still hate Boulder.

I had to get the 2008 calendars put together. Before 2008. Yup, they are done. Go check 'em out.

I finally broke down and bought a laptop. It came with Windows Vista. What an awful load of shit that is. I installed Sabayon Linux and now I dual boot (as any sane person would do).

I've mucked about with some more poetry for my upcoming second book.

And speaking of books, I have read two books which you should read as well. That is if you want to live a happier life. A life more in touch with the world and the people around you. A life of meaning & being.
1. Fuck, Yes! by Reverend Wing F. Fing M.D., Ph.D., D.D.S., L.L.D., D.V.D.
2. Radical Honesty by Brad Blanton, Ph.D.
I'm not pimping them either more than that. Either you have what it takes to change your life or you are a loser. It's all up to you.

I recently discovered Star Trek New Voyages and let me say, this is amazing. It's amazing on two levels:

1. It's great that fans are able to get together and do something like this. Making more episodes of what is clearly the greatest incarnation of the Star Trek series. The creativity, talent and dedication that is coming into play here is wonderful to witness.

2. It illustrates just how close we are to escaping the corporations. The recording companies are terrified now that musicians are starting to realize they (musicians) don't need them (recording companies). Musicians can distribute their own music over the internet, keep all the money and have full artistic freedom. It's not much longer now until people begin to bypass the TV networks and begin to distribute their own movies/series via the internet. The corporations are dying. They are just too stupid to know it.

Star Trek New Voyages

Those who know me know that I hate hippies. Therefor I also hate Boulder, Colorado. No, I've never been to Boulder. I've never been to France either, but I don't need to go there to know I hate it. Anyhow, nothing good comes out of Boulder (just like nothing good comes out of the blue states, right Stacey?) except every once in a while . . .

I've always been aggravated by greeting cards -- for various reasons. But one of the main reasons has been that I simply see them as a waste of paper & resources. Enter Bloomin' -- Handmade paper embedded with seeds. The make greeting cards, promo fliers and invitations which have flower seeds embedded in them. You plant it & watch 'em grow. A great idea. Granted, they are probably made by dope-smoking hippies while listening to the Greatful Dead, but oh well. A good idea is a good idea.

08 JAN 06: My newest obsession: The Epoxies: A kick ass band that channels DEVO and other 80s music into the punk scene.
Stolen straight from their website:

Fronted by the devastating Roxy Epoxy, The Epoxies' punked-up New Wave stylings, fashion forward look and unbelievable stage show have caught the attention and imagination of the music world.
The band blends bouncey hooks and punk energy, with a knack for ultra-tight, pop songwriting. Balancing razor guitars and space age synthesiser sounds against driving beats and the urgent vocal stylings of Roxy Epoxy, The Epoxies music is new wave at it's irresistable best: catchy, upbeat and dancable as hell.

01 JAN 06: Well, here it is, 2006. Aren't we suppose to be dead by now? Paul Ehrlich predicted we would all die of starvation in the 1980s. (He just wrote another book about how we will all die of starvation, this makes four of them.) The Y2K bug was suppose to destroy the world, this was if god didn't do. Of course the god freaks couldn't decide if we were all gonna die on 01 January 2000 or 2001 since most of them lack the math skills (good job public education) to figure out when the millennium occurred. (For the stupid people: 01 January 2001; there was no year 0.) But we knew it would happen on the turn of the new year. Why? Because god uses the same calendar and time system we use. But shit, here it is. 2006. And we are still alive. What to do?

30 MAY 05: And it's still more damn things. Last night while setting up email filters I accidentally filtered *all* of my email to the trash. There's a great idea. On top of that, some idiot out there is sending virus mail and spoofing my website. If you get email from 204EastSouth.com and it comes from webmaster, admin, administrator, register, info, support, service or any other such email address -- it's not from me, nor from this site. I have informed my host admin and all that good stuff.

22 MAY 05: If it ain't one thing, it's another. First, my web site is down for a whole day because my host had some major computer crash. Then, the fan in my computer went out, my system overheated and my hard drive with my root file system on it seized up. Finally things are going again. I got a new drive for all my data files, since I don't know how long the fan was out and how hot my existing drive got. Now if I can just get some work done.

10 JAN 05: It's 2005. Oh the joy. I spent the first few days with a headache that would kill an elephant. I never have headaches. In fact I ended up in the ER. They did a CAT scan on me and guess what? I have medical evidence that in fact I *do* have a brain. They found it. So take that butt-heads.
Right now I as so swamped with work, photography, trying to maintain my store and theatre. Ugh, plus my sleep cycle is still screwed up. Sometimes life is good, sometimes not. I'm not sure which of those times this is.

Yes, it has been a very long time since I have updated the site. But I am still alive, working on some updates, getting ready to bring STO back online, about to publish a book of photography & poetry, and starting another book. In the meantime I have added more Wallpapers of photography by On The Fly Photography for you to enjoy. Also put up some photos of Elizabeth from a photo shoot we did in a cemetery.

Tue - 11 APR 06 - 0200
I went to sleep early, now I'm awake at 0200 and trying to get things done. Amongst the things I have gotten done are adding the black & white photos of Jackie from out photo shoot which took place . . . ages ago. Oh well, such is life. Busy, busy, busy.

Sun - 01 JAN 06 - 22:21
New updates available at Stating The Obvious. I am getting better and better all the time. I added a batch of new photos to the Stacy Keibler Shrine, go over and enjoy. I added new Linux Wallpapers of my photography, most of which feature photos you can buy from On The Fly Photography. Put up photos of Jackie from out photo shoot and there are more to come. I'm still processing the black and white photos from that adventure. I added more photos: Colour photographs: page 2 and Black & White photographs: page 2 I spiffied up the Linux page, with some new images. Finally, there are new banners if you want to link to On The Fly Photography, Stating The Obvious or The Cynical Libertarian Society.

And don't forget about the On The Fly Photography Portfolio where you can see my work, leave comments and post your own photography if you like.

Sun - 13 SEP 05 - 22:21
New updates available at Stating The Obvious so get your ass over there and get your feelings hurt by the truth.

Sun - 4 SEP 05 - 22:47
The On The Fly Photography Portfolio using Coppermine Gallery is online. Check it out, register, rate my photos, leave comments and upload photos of your own if you like. I don't guarantee it will work perfect, so send me any bug reports.

Thru - 4 AUG 05 - 06:20
Finally I have added a batch of flower Photos taken in the summer of 2005 here in Fort Collins, Colorado. Some of these will end up as posters and on a calendar. Stay tuned for updates. On the subject of posters, some of the photos of Becky are available as prints and posters at my cafe press store now. More are coming when I have time to deal with it.

Tue - 26 JUL 05 - 22:24
Damn. Busy as hell. I have 300 flower photos that I am working on and hope to have up soon. But in the meantime, I have gotten some more model photos posted. Warning, the page for Becky's photos is up, but the photos of Becky are not there, and will not be up until late Wed evening.
I finally got the rest of the photos of Chelle posted.
I got the rest of the photos of Donut posted.
I added photos of Becky from a recent shoot in downtown Fort Collins. Some of my most fun stuff ever. A great way to spend 3 hours.

Mon - 30 MAY 05 - 22:15
I have been busy, but not too good about posting what's new here on the what's new section, so I'll see if I can remember everything I have done as of late:
I set up an account at Model Mayhem.
I added photos of Donut and Donut products at my Cafepress store.
I added photos of Chelle and Chelle products at Cafepress.
Also some new On The Fly Logo Gear.
I got the rest of the Metal Posters up in the store.
Also been adding some site to my links page.
The Cynical Libertarian Society part of the site is getting there. I need to get off my ass and come up with some kind of logo. Any suggestions?

Thur - 7 APR 05 - 08:01
Ouch, trying to get things added to the site, but life keeps getting in the way. Theatre & school are kicking ass. I took a week off from work, but I'm still not getting things done. Plus spring is here, and who the hell want's to be indoors when the weather is great? Not I. However, I have added a batch of new posters with a metallic theme to my store at CafePress. I have also been working on getting The Cynical Libertarian Society up and running. Plus I did manage to add a number of editions of Stating The Obvious regarding Utilitarianism. That took a whole day, and then some.

Thur - 24 FEB 05 - 18:22
It's been a while since I did any updates. Finally getting back to it. I finished updating & fixing the existing photography pages and eliminated some more of the old stuff. Coming soon is some new photography. This weekend I have some massive photo shoots. Hopefully there will be some good stuff coming out of that which will be posted within my life time. I'm taking two classes at CSU, along with work, theatre, photography and life that is keeping me pretty busy. Not a whole lot of website time to be had.
