Skippy did a great job teaching me the fundamentals of product photography and of Adobe Lightroom. Further, when I had to meet deadlines, he helped me with expert image processing quickly and efficiently.

I highly recommend Skippy as a gifted, knowledgeable and reliable photographer and image-processing expert.

I am around good photographers in my family so I am intimated by people who can easily snap pictures and produce quality results. During a Web Magic Marketing meeting, Skippy taught us that there is more to taking pictures than just snapping away and having a good camera. There is of course lighting (natural and artificial), head and body cropping issues, having the image slightly off from the middle (there is a math equation there, but I just say “a bit off from center”) and so much more to think about. I will take shots as I see them for me (armed with my new information), but I believe that I will put my faith in Skippy when it comes time to produce photography for my business clients. He clearly knows his craft. I enjoy seeing his work for the Tuana Hair Design company in Fort Collins – excellent work! – thanks for your informative talk on photography!

I’ve heard Skippy present twice at meetup groups about photography and taking pictures. Wow! He was terrific! I learned great information both times, and would go listen to him, again. Skippy was an excellent ability to “cut to the chase” and present the most important and helpful information in a clear and understandable fashion. Coupled with a comfortable sense of humor and plenty of examples of (someone else’s!) poor pictures, and (his!) great pictures, Skippy easily communicates that he knows plenty about his craft. He can answer the “easy” questions as easily as the “difficult” questions … and his pictures show it.

These are truely beautiful pictures, I love the way the sun peeks through the fog along with the silhouettes of the weeds and plants. The fog worked well with you after all your patience.

n810, thanks for the offer. That would be cool, but would also involve more work on my part. :) And really I’m cool with the noise because it’s more like being there instead of being a video shot in a studio.
